The Pillars

Coach Snell wearing a Shoreline baseball cap

Your partnership does more than change our campus; it transforms lives.

By building this home together we give our Baseball and Softball programs the launching pad they deserve to compete at the highest level and succeed both on and off the diamond.

Join us in building the Field Above The Bay that our players, students, alumni and community will be proud of for decades to come.

— Coach Snell

Baseball has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember, but my journey through the game was never a straight line. I experienced success, injuries, academic struggles, setbacks, and plenty of moments when it would have been easy to walk away. Looking back, those difficult moments became some of the most important parts of my journey because they taught me perseverance, responsibility, and what it means to keep working when things don’t go according to plan.

After graduating from Shorewood High School, I continued my baseball career at Shoreline Community College. My first college season was cut short by injury, and it would be three years before I returned to the field. When I finally came back, I wasn’t playing the same position. I had gone from being a third baseman and catcher to standing on the pitcher’s mound. Eventually, I became one of Shoreline’s starting pitchers, earned Academic Athletic Honor Roll recognition, and had opportunities to continue playing beyond Shoreline.
